Eugene CherryWas deployed to Iraq in 2004, where he worked as a medic and was later assigned to a personal security detachment. He returned in 2005 with symptoms of PTSD. Eugene was eventurally given an honorable discharge and is now working with various groups including American Friends Service Committee 'Speak for Peace Tour'. |

Wheels of JusticeHaving seen and lived with war, terror and occupation in Iraq and Palestine, participants in the Wheels of Justice offer first-hand experience irrespective of partisan politics and sound bite sloganeering. The Wheels of Justice Tour canvasses the United States with education, outreach, training, active non-violent resistance, and network/community-building. http://justicewheels.org/ |
Exhibitor setup will take place at 11:00-11:30 on Sunday, September 14th. All exhibitor spaces are inside the pavilion at Phoenix Park, with basic rain cover and electricity available. Voices for Peace 2008 provides a safe environment for citizens of our region to raise awareness about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, their effects, and solutions for ending these wars, as well as a safe environment to express feelings about war, through art, music, and literature.
